Learning another language is A Perfect Way to stimulate children's cognitive development and skills. A recent article, (click here) on the topic says it best: Kids soak up a language almost by osmosis, and it's a very effective approach -- particularly when it's taught through a variety of activities. After all, that is the way we learn our own language.

We believe that learning Spanish has benefits for children beyond the obvious language skills. Our students learn about other cultures; they gain confidence in their interaction with other students, because we connect language with games, art, music, stories, and songs.
              

We teach children for a simple reason: linguistic researchers have identified a clear window of opportunity between the ages of 24 months and 10 years, during which time the learning of a language comes easiest to the learner. It is in this fertile time where early childhood language experience develops as a skill that is likely to stick with children for the rest of their life .
