Hola Kids Program. The Hola Kids Program focuses on Spanish language learning. In this program, the Kids will learn Spanish vocabulary, sounds recognition, phonics, conversation, listening, writing, speaking, reading, spelling, songs, and rhymes.   Also, puppets will act to strengthen language interaction, visuals will aid teaching, role-playing, games such a playing cards and others, bilingual story-time, coloring, Spanish music and dancing, cultural activities such as Holidays or Themes, and much more!   Worksheets are also given for reinforcement and practice at home.

The children who comprehend completely gain confidence and speak up, which in turn provides additional support to the novices. Our experience has shown that this is a tremendously effective and supportive way to broaden and deepen a child's grasp of Spanish, regardless of their proficiency.   The Spanish Class is based around much repetition of words in many classroom activities. This repetition, that we use to teach this course, gives no premature pressure to speak. Many other exercises allow the student simply to respond physically to Spanish through TPR. (Total Physical Response). The puppets are easy for children to relate to and minimize the fear to respond.

TPR , or Total Physical Response , promotes the use of nonverbal communication in the acquisition of a second language. The concept is based on the way we acquire our first language. It involves a physical response to a command. In the classroom, students listen silently to various TPR commands and then demonstrate understanding by performing appropriate responses. In our classes, the children gain the meaning of the new language by listening, comprehending and expanding vocabulary and phonological awareness.

We also feature the Total Language Immersion Method .   This is a teaching method that advocates immersing the child in the target language. As a part of this class, your child will hear only the Spanish Language for a very special reason. The fact is that adults and children learn differently. Adults must see and hear their native language along with the new one to understand. But young children have the amazing ability to learn a second, or even a third or fourth language, at the same time as they are developing their native language. This method will give them the maximum exposure to sounds, syntax and sentence structure. Young children learn other languages easily if they are exposed to them early in life.
